I often see people driving trucks around full of scrap materials. They look very unsafe and dangerous. Is there a law that can be enforced for this type of activity?

There are regulations found within the Highway Traffic Act pertaining to secure loading. The following link provides an outline of the rules/regulations (section 111): https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90h08#BK199
If you observe a motor vehicle in contravention of the Act, you can contact Police to report the matter or utilize Crime Stoppers and provide the information in a confidential manner.
