On May 20, 2022, the court released the man with conditions not to communicate or be within 100 metres of a woman.
At 7:48 a.m., police responded to Prince Street South in Chatham for a disturbance involving the man and the woman. Through investigation, police learned the man had violated his conditions on November 1 and 2, 2022. Also, on November 2, 2022, the man threatened to hard the woman.
The 29-year-old Raleigh Township man was arrested and charged with uttering threats and two counts of failing to comply with the release order. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
Woman Arrested for Threats and Assault CK22051563
At 9:46 a.m., police responded to Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham for a neighbour dispute.
Through investigation, police learned the woman threatened to cause harm to her neighbour. As the woman was being arrested, she threw a beverage at the officer and attempted to flee. The officer gained control of the woman and transported her to headquarters.
The 36-year-old Chatham woman was charged with uttering threats and assaulting a peace officer. She was held pending a bail hearing.

At 1:38 p.m., police responded to Joseph Street in Chatham for a disturbance.
Police arrived on the scene and found the man inside the residence. Police learned the man was bound by two release orders and a probation order not to attend that residence.
The 27-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of failing to comply with a release order. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
