The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 111 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested, and two are being held for a bail hearing.
Break and Enter
On December 23, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police attended a property located on Green Line, Ridgetown. Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into an agricultural barn by breaking through a window, causing $100 damage. Stolen from the out-building was a set of John Deere wrenches and Husky air hammer, valued at $250.

Two for the Price of One
On December 16, 2015, a Chatham man was released from the courts with several conditions, after being charged with domestic assault. One of the conditions was not to contact of communicate directly or indirectly with the victim. Upon his release, the victim was advised of his release from custody, and all of his conditions.
In the evening of December 23, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police observed both the male and female at a location on King St, Chatham. They were well aware of each other’s presence, the accused didn’t leave the area and the victim was not being held against her own will. Both parties were subsequently arrested.
The 25 year old Chatham man was charged with Breach of Recognizance, and held for bail. The 29 year old Chatham female was charged with Abetting the Breach, and released with a future court date.
Breaching in Blenheim
On December 14, 2015, Blenheim man was released from the courts after being charged with Theft and Possession of a vehicle. Several conditions were imposed upon him, including a curfew between 9PM and 6AM, and not to possess of consume any unlawful drugs or substances, without a prescription.
In the evening of December 23, 2015, Chatham-Kent Police were dispatched to a residence on Marlborough St, Blenheim, for an unwanted party. The male party was arrested for breaching his curfew, and subsequent to arrest a small quantity of cannabis marihuana was located in his possession.
The 35 year old Blenheim man was charged with two counts of Breach of Recognizance, and held for a bail hearing.
