Stolen Car in Ridgetown CK23005782
Sometime between 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and 1:00pm on Friday, unknown suspect(s) stole a red GMC Sierra pickup truck from a residence in Ridgetown. The vehicle was later recovered on Kennesserie Road in Ridgetown by Chatham-Kent Police.

Woman Arrested for Numerous Charges CK23005804
At 3:20 p.m. yesterday, a Toronto woman attended a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham and stole approximately $250.00 worth of items. The woman then attended a gas station on Park Avenue East in Chatham and stole $20.00 worth of gasoline. Police identified the woman through video surveillance. Also through investigation, police learned the woman was operating a motor vehicle that was reported stolen from Milton and she had outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Police located the woman and motor vehicle on Charing Cross Road, Raleigh. The woman was placed under arrest and the motor vehicle was seized.
The 40-year-old Toronto woman was charged with two counts of theft under $5000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Drive while under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, and fail to comply with release order. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK23005876
Around 11:00 p.m. yesterday, police located an intoxicated man on Elgin Street in Wallaceburg. For his own safety, the man was taken into custody as he was unable to care for himself. The 33-year-old Chatham man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He was held in police custody until sober.
