Woman Arrested for Failing to Comply with a Probation Order CK23000392
At 10:12 a.m., the woman attended the police headquarters in Chatham and turned herself in to the police. The woman was wanted for failing to comply with a probation order, theft, and mischief.
The 28-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released with conditions and a future court date of February 13, 2023.
Woman Arrested for Assault CK23000467
At 8:52 a.m., police located the woman on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for assault related to an incident that occurred on December 20, 2022.
The 24-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with assault. She was released with a future court date of January 20, 2023.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23000479
At 8:21 p.m., police attended an address on Delaware Avenue in Chatham to stand by and keep the peace. While at the location, police learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters. He was released with conditions and a future court date of January 31, 2023.
Man Arrested for Intimate Partner Violence CK23000495
At 11:08 p.m., police responded to Campus Parkway for a domestic dispute.
Through investigation, police learned a verbal argument escalated when the man wrapped his arm around the woman’s neck, causing her breathing to be restricted.
The 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with assault. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
