Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK20000599
At 3:39 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service was advised by the Walpole Island Police Service they had arrested the man on a warrant held by CKPS.
CKPS attended and arrested the man.
The 25-year-old Walpole Island man was charged with failing to attend court. He was released with conditions and a future court date of January 30, 2023.
Man Arrested for Breach of Probation CK23000624
After being convicted of criminal harassment, the man entered a probation order with a condition not to communicate or be within 200 meters of a woman.
On January 4, 2023, at 6:15 p.m., the man attended the woman’s residence and failed to leave when directed.
The 34-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with criminal harassment and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. He was released with a future court date of February 6, 2023.
Man Arrested for Failing to Attend Court CK23000700
At 5:45 a.m., police responded to a business on Murray Street in Wallaceburg for suspicious activity.
Once on scene, police learned the man was wanted for failing to attend court in 2022, and he was arrested.
The 48-year-old Wallaceburg man was released with a future court date of February 6, 2023.
Man Arrested for Arson CK23000111
On January 1, 2023, emergency crews responded to a structure fire on Wall Street in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, police formed grounds to arrest the man for setting the fire.
On January 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m., the man turned himself in to the police.
The 60-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with arson. He was released with conditions and a future court date of February 13, 2023.
