I work with some pretty fantastic people. Outside of my career, I am married to an RCMP officer and we have 6 children. My passion surrounds helping others and community events.
I love chairing our annual Toy Drive in conjunction with the Salvation Army. Each of the holidays seems to bring out an event or something we can do to make our community a better place and break stereotypes of policing.
I am also a wish grantor with Make a Wish. I love it more than I can put into words. I have met some exceptionally courageous kids and families that give new meaning to the word ~ brave. I have cried big tears listening to their stories and struggles. It makes my heart happy to grant the children’s wishes. The looks on their faces and tears in their parents’ eyes are followed by tight hugs as their wishes come true. From trips to Disney to bedroom makeovers to meeting the cast of their favourite shows….it’s all so exciting and thrilling to be a part of.
