The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 121 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Eight (8) people were arrested and four (4) were held for Bail Hearings.
CK17050128 – Break, Enter and Theft-0645 hours-Gillard Street, Wallaceburg. Unknown suspect(s) entered the complainant’s garage and removed approximately $3000.00 in tools. There are no suspects at the time of the report. Investigation continuing. PC D Graham.
CK17050140 – Break, Enter and Theft – 0901 hours-Campbell Street-Chatham. The complainant advised that overnight on the 22December, 2017, unknown suspect(s) entered the complainant’s residence through a bedroom window causing $200.00 damage. Taken from the residence was prescription medication. At the time of the report there were no suspects and the investigation is ongoing. PC Medenblik.
CK17050139 – Assault x3 and Assault with Weapon-Chatham. A complainant advised she had been assaulted on different occasions by her spouse. The spouse was located, arrested and held for Bail.
CK17050167 – Warrants – 1208 hours-A female was arrested on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000.00. She was transported to headquarters, processed and released on a Promise to Appear. PC Medenblik.
CK17050171 –A male turned himself in as reasonable grounds existed for possession of property under $5000.00.
CK17050168 – Break, Enter and Theft –1215 hours-St. Anthony Street, Chatham. Between 1200 hrs. 22 December and 1200 hrs. – 24 December, 2017, unknown suspect(s) entered complainant’s residence through a patio door. Taken, three (3) televisions and a laptop computer valued at $2000.00. No suspects. Investigation continuing. PC Flikweert.
CK17050236 – IMPAIRED – St. Clair Street, Chatham. Numerous callers reporting suspect vehicle driving over medians and on the wrong side of St. Clair Street passing oncoming traffic. The driver was eventually stopped and arrested for impaired. PC’s ROSE/PAILEY/BAILLARGEON.
CK17050254 – B&E Warrants -Thornhill Cr. Chatham. –A Chatham male broke into at least three sheds on Thornhill Cr. A foot pursuit of the suspect made its way through several yards. Follow-up to be done by day shift for more possible properties. The accused had been wanted for breach of probation-held for bail. PC’s ROSE/PAILEY/CHICKOWSKI/BAILLARGEON.
