Incident Update: Missing Person
On November 28, 2022, at 2:23 p.m., the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a concern an 18-year-old woman could not be located. Based on the information provided, the Chatham-Kent Police immediately began a missing person investigation.
The search utilized various investigative resources and techniques, such as cell phone pinging, a drone, a grid search, the K9 unit and public tips.
Through the collaborative efforts of front-line officers, the Critical Incident Response Team, the Criminal Investigation Branch, community partner agencies, and the public, the woman was found safe on November 29, 2022, at approximately 7:00 p.m. She received medical attention for hypothermia but otherwise was in good health.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank everyone who participated in this search. It was a community effort with a positive outcome.

Missing Person:
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 18-year-old woman.
She was last seen on November 28, 2022, at approximately 12:11 p.m. near the Chatham Christian School.
She is a 5’5” woman with a thin build and long black hair.
She was wearing a grey uniform hoodie, black slim-fit pants, black shoes with white soles and carrying a black winter coat.
Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police at 519-436-6600 immediately.
