I read that if we see an American plate in Ontario that we are to report it. Is this true? If so, I saw one in Erieau yesterday.

An interesting question indeed,
I looked into this a little bit further to give the best answer possible.
With that being said, please remember that there are many reasons that an American plate could be located in Ontario as the border between Canada and the United States isn’t really “Closed’ and is open for a variety of reasons.
If you DO suspect that someone is in Canada that shouldn’t be, please report them to the CBSA Border Watch Line at 1-888-502-9060.
