Sky Warriors is a community of local pilots and volunteers who contribute to creating a safer way for everyone to get around. Currently we are focusing our efforts on improving safety for drivers on Ontario Highway 401 between Tilbury and Ridgetown where a long term highway improvement project is underway. Our goal is to provide timely information and media for drivers planning to travel on this section of the 401 to avoid “log jams” and get to their destinations with a clear understanding of alternative routs. Accidents will happen, but we will be there with an eye in the sky to provide you with the information you need to bypass the traffic jam.

The concept of Sky Warriors in assisting our community with notifications of 401 traffic jams has benefits for sure. If you are not aware the 401 is the responsibility of the OPP not CKPS. Please be mindful when taking live video feed or photos of collision scenes. In the era of instant media coverage we need to respect the victims involved in these collisions and their families.
