I want to know how close are people allowed to park to my driveway flare. Hamilton has a by law 01-218 section 13D. Does Chatham also have such by law?

Thank you for the question. Under CK By-Law, no vehicle shall be parked:
210.01.11 opposite, in front of or within one-half metre (0.5 m) of a driveway or laneway
or a curb-cut or depressed curb thereto, or in such a position so as obstruct
vehicle(s) in the use of any driveway or laneway;
Should you find a vehicle in contravention of this by-law please feel free to report the matter.
